| 9th EUROPT Workshop on Advances in Continuous Optimization |
|
The University of Ballarat The goal of EUROPT is to promote and to facilitate communication links among European and other researchers working in areas of continuous optimization. For the first time the EUROPT Workshop on Advances in Continuous Optimization will be held out of Europe. The workshop aims to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners in continuous optimization and related fields to discuss and exchange their latest works. The workshop is a satellite event to the 19th IFORS Conference to be held in Melbourne on July 10-15, 2011. The topics of the workshop include linear and nonlinear optimization, global optimization, optimal control, convex and nonsmooth optimization, large-scale optimization, variational analysis, derivative-free optimization, multi-objective optimization, stochastic optimization, semi-infinite programming, semi-definite programming, robust optimization, applications of continuous optimization to combinatorial problems. Students from AMSI Member institutions will receive discounted registration. ***AMSI Travel Account may not be used for this event*** |
