| ICE-EM/AMSI Summer School 2003 |

The 1st annual ICE-EM/AMSI Summer School was hosted by the University of Melbourne from 21 January to 21 February 2003. A total of 107 participants attended from member universities around Australia and industry took part in the summer school. Of the attendees 47 were Honours students, 35 PhD students, 15 Masters students and 4 from industry. Feedback was enthusiastic, commending the high standard of the teaching and subject matter, which provided challenging material somtimes not available at their home institutions.
