Careers in Mathematics and Statistics Website

ICE-EM has conducted interviews with 12 Australian mathematics graduates to help people visualise the careers that a degree in mathematics or statistics may lead to. These interviews are available on the Careers in Mathematics and Statistics website through interactive profiles that provide text, audio and video excerpts as well as full interview transcripts.

Careers Pack Careers Pack

The AMSI/ICE-EM Careers Pack intends to provide students and their parents with well-informed advice on careers in the mathematical sciences.

  • students are aware of the career options that emanate from the study of mathematcis and statictics
The Carees Pack consists of:
  • Maths and you posters and booklets
  • Careers DVD
  • Current Maths ad(d)s
Careers Packs are $25.00 each for members institutions, and $30.00 for non-members.

Message to parents:
There have been recent reports in the media regarding high-pressure techniques used in the marketing and sale of computer based mathematics learning systems. The Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) is not in any way associated, connected or affiliated with companies or organisations involved in these activities, and does not endorse or vouch for such products in any way.
