Each year honours students from around Australia apply for the competitive Research Vacation Scholarships.

Scholarships comprise a six-week research project during the summer holiday. At the culmination of the project students come together with CSIRO vacation scholars and present their work to their peers at CSIRO’s Big Day In.

Reports by the vacation scholars are added annually.
