Audience overflowed into second theatre for video transmission
Terry Tao began his Clay-Mahler lectures when he delivered the 23rd Behrend Memorial Lecture at the University of Melbourne on the evening of 31 August 2009.
His talk Mathematical Research and the Internet filled the 500 seat Copland Theatre with late registrants being accommodated in an overflow venue with video feed of the talk.
