In the student questionnaires administered at the end of the summer school, the students gave an extremely positive evaluation of the summer school; in particular, they gave very high ratings to their learning in the summer school, the standard of the summer school, the useful contacts they made in the summer school, the organisation of the summer school, and their enjoyment at the summer school. The student questionnaires for the individual subjects showed the students were very satisfied with all of the subjects; every subject received an overall satisfaction score greater than 4 out of 5. The written comments on the questionnaires were also extremely positive, with numerous comments about the lecturer’s enthusiasm, and the well organised nature of the subjects. Several students referred to the “awesome experience” or that the lecturers were “awesome”. The 2011 Summer School will be hosted by University of Adelaide. |
