AMSI partners with VLSCI, five more internships generated

A recent agreement between AMSI and the Victorian Life Sciences Computational Initiative (VLSCI) will enable the placement of five interns with high-end mathematical and statistical skills to work specifically on life science projects.

So far two interns have been placed. Dr Eder Kikianty is working with NICTA on genome sequence analysis and breast cancer while Dr Hugh Miller is working with the Royal Melbourne Hospital on modelling clinical drug responses of epileptics.
