Bio
Janine McIntosh is Schools Project Manager. Janine manages the Improving Mathematics Education in Schools (TIMES) program, which is funded by the Australian Government with the aim to support the teaching and learning of mathematics in schools. The program comprises outreach work in six clusters across Australia, the development of a suite of careers materials, teacher content modules written for the Australian Curriculum and collaboration with CSIRO on Maths by Email.
Janine is one of the authors of ICE-EM Mathematics, and continues to support teachers implementing the ICE-EM program.
Janine was one of writers for the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics F - 10. She is an experienced primary teacher, who has worked as a lecturer in mathematics education at the University of Melbourne and serves on the Maths Challenge Committee of the Australian Mathematics Trust. |
