Bio
As the Media and Communications officer, Emma's role is to communicate AMSI's vision and activity to government, members and the public. She writes press releases and edits AMSI publications including member bulletins and the annual report.
Emma graduated from the University of Melbourne in December 2011 with a Bachelor of Science and a Diploma in Mathematical Science, and is currently undertaking her honours year at La Trobe University. Working with the Space Physics Group, she is using data from the Super Dual Auroral Radar Network (SuperDARN) to investigate trends in HF radio wave propagation paths in the Earth's ionosphere.
Emma enjoys cycling, playing tennis, and inspiring the next generation of scientists through her involvement with the In2Science Peer Mentoring in Schools program. |
