Workshop on nonlinear partial differential equations

The study of nonlinear partial differential equations forms a central topic within the modern mathematical area of geometric analysis, closely linking with Rieman- nian and other geometries, topology and functional analysis to achieve spectacular results including the recent proof of the Poincar ́e conjecture, completed by Perelman after pioneering work by Hamilton.

The focus of this workshop will be analytical methods for elliptic and parabolic PDE with particular applications in geometry.

The author of one of the key references for parabolic PDE, Prof. Gary Lieberman is keynote speaker at the event.
