However, this report is concerned only with a comparison of syllabi and examinations in mathematics subjects leading on to tertiary study, concentrating on the IBO, NSW and VIC Year 11/12 mathematics programmes. The authors of this report
consider the syllabi and examinations in the IBO Intermediate and Advanced mathematics subjects to be neither upmarket nor downmarket compared with the equivalent NSW and VIC offerings.
