Bioinformatics Australia 2007 Conference

The Bioinformatics Australia 2007 conference will be the second national meeting held by the society. This annual meeting will showcase Australia’s scientific activity in the key areas of bioinformatics and computational biology.

Our first meeting held in Sydney 2006 was attended by over 100 delegates and succeeded for the first time in providing a national forum for both academia and industry researchers.

In addition to the scientific content, this second meeting will provide networking opportunities with bioinformatics and biotechnology stakeholders in Australia for students, users and developers of bioinformatics resources as well as ICT and life scientists interested in bioinformatics.

The second annual Bioinformatics Australia conference, will be held in Brisbane concurrently with the AusBiotech 2007 National Conference.

The conference will include scientific sessions and discussion fora on two key initiatives the Australian Bioinformatics Network and NCRIS funded Australian Bioinformatics Facility.
